CH Heartsong's Moving On Up
Wheezie is our black (CPC) persian. She is Gwenie's daughter and was destined for another home....until my husband fell in love. The rest is history. She was an "unplanned keeper" from the Gwenie x Boo Boo litter. She has a very strong personality and has since day one. She was the first to open her eyes, the frist to walk and the first to find her way out of the kittening box. My nickname for her was "Little Miss Independant" because she was the bravest and the first to try everything. Now her nick name is "Cheeze Wheeze" or "Gorilla Cookies" but when we are referring to her amongst the humans it's "DENNIS THE MENACE". If you hear a crash in the house, or someone is throwing themselves at the wall to chase a wayward fly, it's usually her. She is FEARLESS, which often scares the death out of us. As mischievous as she is, she is also a great snuggler. She will climb on top of and/or across the other cats and dogs to get to someone's chest to lay on at night and purr away.
Lady Guinevere is our foundation girl. I'm so thankful to her breeder Geri Fellerman of Dragonfyre Himalayans who has become not only my mentor but a dear friend. Though Gwenie was never happy in the show hall, she has never met a bowl of ice cream she wasn't fond of. She is very mild mannered and when she wants something, she ever so gently taps you with her paw. She is an excellent mother and despite her girls being all grown up she purrs in delight as she grooms them. She is the sweetheart of the house! Gwenie is now retired and but is taking great pleasure in helping raise her grandbabies.
Diva was my (planned) keeper out of Gwenie and Boo Boo's litter. Of all the cats here Diva has the name that fits her the most. She is also a "momma's girl" of the truest kind. If she isn't with me she can be found snuggled up with her mother Guinevere. She is a spolied princess and is impossible to resist with her sweet face and beautiful eyes.
Like her mother she didn't really care for showing. She showed in only a handful of local shows to grand, then was happily retired from showing. What a surprise to find out that she with that very limited showing she ended the 2013-2014 show season as The North Atlantic Region's Best Seal Point Himalayan and the Second Best Himalayan! We couldn't be more proud of this adorable girl.

GC Heartsong's Lila Blue
Lila is Diva's daughter out of our Regional Winning boy Commo. She is our first blue cream point here at Heartsong and I couldn't be more pleased. She was named by our niece Siena who was 4 when Lila was born. Lila was our first homebred girl that truly did not mind the show hall. In March, 2016 Lila followed in her mother Diva's footsteps and became a Grand Champion. Speaking of following in her mother's footsteps, Lila is rarely ever more than a few feet from her mother Diva and will often sleep using Diva as a pillow. Besides her mother, Lila's two favorite things are playing fetch and sitting in an open window with the breeze blowing over her. We cannot wait for her first litter to get here!
